Abstract

817,055. Metal tubes. PREFORMED LINE PRODUCTS CO. Sept. 12, 1955, No. 25997/55. Class 99(2). [Also in Group XXXVI] At least part of the length of a core has arranged thereabout two sets of helically preformed rods in complementary coaxial relationship for at least a portion of their respective lengths to form a tubular construction, the tubular part departing from the core for at least a portion of its length. Fig. 6 indicates how two sets of helical rods from a tube and Figs. 14, 15 show examples of ways in which parts of the tube can depart from the central core embraced by other parts of the tube.
