[Also in Group XIII] A swirl tube 1, e.g. a tube provided with helically-extending constrictions is reinforced by bands 2 spaced from the ends of the tube and comprising swirl tube sections having internal dimensions which correspond to the external dimensions of the tube 1. The bands may be shrunk on or welded to the tube.
