913,904. Band-clips. CORNING GLASS WORKS. March 2, 1961 [March 2, 1960], No. 7687/61. Class 44. [Also in Groups XXVI and XXVIII] A clamping band 40 for use in a pipe coupling (see Group XXVIII) is formed of a sheet of metal, preferably stainless steel, and is slotted as at 60 through the portions 42 at three positions around the circumference. Suitable eyelets and a clamping bolt are used to effect the clamping action.
