Abstract

814,105. Agricultural implements. MARING'S PLOEGENFABRIEK, N. V. July 17, 1956, No. 22157/56. Class 6(1). A reversible one-way plough comprises a slotted disc 5 fixed to the rotatable shaft 3 of the plough, the disc being engaged by a link 15 pivoted to a bell-crank lever 10 pivotally mounted by means of a pin 11 on a fixed part 9 of the plough. The lever 10 is pivoted to a tractor draft link 13 and is provided with a spring-urged locking member 18. The plough is locked in each working position by means of a lever 23 which is engaged by a stop 22 in the link 15 and engages in recesses in the movable part of the plough. As the plough is raised the locking member 18 is disengaged from a pin 19 by contact of an end 20 with the link 13. This causes the plough to pivot rearwardly about the connection of the plough with lower draft links 8. The bell-crank lever rotates in a clockwise direction so that the link 15 moves downwardly the stop 22 embodying the lever 23. The downward movement causes the link to move the disc to partially rotate the shaft 3. For transport purposes the lever 10 is locked by inserting a pin 29 between the lever 10 and the part 9. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 544,041.
