In the examples 1,1,1-trichloro - 2,2 - bis - (o - nitro - p - chloroanilino) ethane is prepared by reacting chloral and o-nitro -p-chloroaniline. 1,1,1-Trichloro-2,2-bis (o-chloro -p-nitro-chloroanilino) ethane is also referred to.
