Abstract

A deodorant composition in a tin-lined iron container provided with the usual dispensing valve has the following formula in percentages by weight: propylene glycol 3.5, triethylene glycol 3.5, isopropyl alcohol 99-25.0, methylene chloride 25.0, water 28.0, citric acid 1.25, bicarbonate of soda 1.25, perfume 0.2 and "Freon 12" (Registered Trade Mark) 12.3. An insecticidal composition particularly effective against flies has the following formula in percentages by weight: pyrethrins 0.2, D.D.T. 3.0, petroleum distillates 16.8, methylene chloride 35.0, water 27.0, emulsifier 0.5, "Freon 12" (Registered Trade Mark) 11.5, potassium bicarbonate 3.0 and citric acid 3.0.
