Abstract

1476719 Insecticidal and fungicidal composition AIRWICK AG 5 Feb 1976 [6 Feb 1975] 04639/76 Heading A5E A liquid composition with combined insecticidal and fungicidal action comprises as active ingredients (a) 0.01-8.3% by wt of at least one insecticidal pyrethium or pyrethroid; (b) 0.005-16.7% by wt n-dodecylguanidine acetate; (c) 0.005-33.3% by wt in total 4-cyclodecyl-2, 6-dimethyl-morpholine and/or N-benzthiazolyl (2)-N' isopropyl urea. The composition is made up in the form of a water-free solution in an organic solvent which solution can be diluted with water or in the form of a stable aqueous colloidal solution. Suitable solvents are aliphatic alcohols of 2-8 C atoms, an aliphatic or cycloaliphatic ketone, an ether alcohol or a mixture of such solvents. Cyclohexanone is a particularly suitable solvent. The preferred pyrethrins are resmethrin, bioresmethrin and tetramethrin. Surface active agents and pyrethrin synergists may also be present. The composition may conveniently be used in aerosol form.
