Abstract
An aerosol composition comprises a water-in-oil emulsion containing di-(2-ethylhexyl)-phthalate. The composition may be a re-odorant or an insecticide. In addition to the active ingredient, the compositions may contain wetting agents, e.g. polyoxyethylene compounds or triethylene glycol, or sorbitan mono-oleate; and propellants such as propane, butane or fluorinated hydrocarbons.ALSO:An insecticidal composition in the form of an aerosol comprises a water-in-oil emulsion containing pyrethrum extract, piperonyl butoxide, di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate, water, wetting agents, and butane as propellant.
