Class 82(1) [Also in Group XXII] A solder alloy suitable for soldering together tungsten parts consists of an alloy of Co with Pd and/or Au, the composition of which is represented as a point on the straight line which, in the ternary diagram of Co, Pd and Au, joins the point corresponding to an alloy of Co 40 per cent and Pd 60 per cent to the point corresponding to an alloy of Au 90 per cent and Co 10 per cent. The alloy may be used in the production of electric discharge tubes for soldering tungsten grid wires to a tungsten frame (see Group XXII).
