Abstract

809,468. Rotary conveyers. ROSE BROS. (GAINSBOROUGH) Ltd. April 18, 1957 [May 3, 1956], No. 13639/56. Class 78 (1). [Also in Group XVII] The device described in Specification 729,223 is improved by the provision of a series of radial grooves 15, one for each pocket, in the surface of the feed wheel 11. The grooves are preferably of arcuate cross-section and deepen progressively from points adjacent the centre of the wheel until they merge into the pockets 12. The device shown is otherwise similar to that shown in Figs. 1 and 2 of Specification 729,223. The grooves improve the conveying action of the wheel and guide the articles into the pockets.
