Abstract

789,652. Packaging. FORSBERG, K. V. May 11, 1956, No. 14767/56. Addition to 769,975. Drawings to Specification. Class 94(1). The packaging method described in the parent Specification is modified in that solid goods are placed in the loop of the web destined to form the bag, prior to the open ends of the loop being clamped. The apparatus is as described in the parent Specification except that the grippers for the loop ends are not arranged to approach each other to open the loop or pocket mouth, and do not come into operation until the goods have been deposited in the loop. The grippers are adjustable for various widths of bag.
