809,072. Multicolour screen photography. EMIMETA - FABRIKAKTIONS - ANSTALT. Aug. 23, 1955 [Aug. 24. 1954; Nov. 8, 1954; Dec. 30, 1954; Jan. 18, 1955], No. 24192/55. Drawings to Specification. Class 98(2) The screen lines or points are produced photographically on film material by the subtractive colour photography process and thereafter there is applied a "black and white sensitive emulsion". Preferably a large screen as with blue, green and red lines is photographed with reduction for the purpose, using colour formers in the sensitive material or in the developer, and processing may be direct or by reversal. The screen lines may be subdivided into small fields with the lines dispersed in individual fields at 90 degrees to each other to avoid impression of continuous lines. An interlayer may be provided between screen and emulsion or the latter may be on the reverse side of a carrier material. The upper surface of the carrier, or of the screen, may be compensated against reflection by blowing a gaseous compound decomposable by water to a hydrated oxide through a nozzle in the presence of steam thereon.
