Abstract
651,976. Colour photography. CUVIER, P. Jan. 30, 1948, No. 2774. Convention date, Feb. 5, 1947. [Class 98 (ii)] Two of three colour separation negatives are printed on to moving picture film having a light-sensitive layer on each face, the images thus obtained are coloured, and the third coloured image is formed, as by imbibition printing from a matrix obtained from the third separation negative, on a pure gelatine layer superimposed on one of the light-sensitive layers. If desired, a further pure gelatine may be provided over the other light-sensitive layer and used for formation of a fourth coloured image or a black image. Preferably the pure gelatine layer or layers are superimposed before exposure of the light-sensitive layers. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 comprises also a process in which the third, and, if desired, a fourth, coloured image is formed in the pure gelatine layer or layers by bichromate sensitization thereof, exposure and mordant dyeing with acid dyestuffs. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
