808,226. Furniture combinations. CRAVENS Ltd., and PETERS & CO. Ltd., G. D. July 10, 1957 [July 12, 1956], No. 21608/56. Classes 52(3) and 52(5) A table 14 for attachment to the backrest 11 of a seat, is supported by a stay 13 pivoted to the seat about an axis 12 intermediate of its length, and by a telescopic stay 16 pivoted at 17 to the seat. The free end of stay 13 is engaged by a spring clip 15 acting as a stop. When not in use the table folds up against the back of the rest 11 where it is held in position by spring fastenings or catches. The backrest is preferably angularly adjustable about the axis 12 and to accommodate this movement the stay 13 extends from the seat at an angle greater than the greatest inclination of the backrest.
