808,003. Transferring vehicles to and from pit cages. BARKER & SON ENGINEERS Ltd., W. H. June 5, 1957 [July 6, 1956], No. 20969/56. Class 78 (4). The wheels i of a mine-car pusher f are so spaced that in the forward position of the pusher (illustrated) they straddle a traverser running on tracks b and from which the pusher has pushed a wagon d; this permits the traverser to be withdrawn before the pusher f is retracted. The pusher f is driven by a ram the cylinder k of which passes through the rear of the pusher frame and the piston rod of which is secured to the pusher head g of the pusher. Specification 740,824 is referred to.
