807,393. Folding chairs: leg rests combined with tables. GILKES & CO. Ltd., G. H. March 30, 1957, No. 10471/57. Classes 52(2) and 52(3) A leg rest for use with a folding chair and having side members 24, crossbars 25, 26 and canvas 27 and two pairs of pivoted legs 30, 31 can be converted into a table by attaching a table top 38 having cross battens 39, 40 which engage cross bars 25, 26. When the leg rest is not required legs 30, 31 are folded inwards and the leg rest is placed inside the side pieces 10 of the folding chair, semicircular notches 28 fitting over cross bar 11 and a rectangular notch 29 abutting a notched part 121 of chair cross bar 12. The table top is then placed over the side pieces 24 and is locked in position by turn buttons 41, 42 on battens 39, 40. Specification 803,327 is referred to.
