Abstract
807,324. Threshing machines. MASCHINENFABRIK FAHR A.G. Dec. 11, 1956 [Jan. 20, 1956], No. 37819/56. Class 6(3). In a threshing machine of the rotary beater and concave type, additional threshing-bars 5 may be inserted into the concave 1 from its upper side, each such bar having apertured lugs 6 which pass through the transverse rods 2 of the concave and are engaged by a locking bar 7 which is inserted into the lugs below the rods 2 to hold the bar 5 in position. Holes are provided in the fixed side-walls of the threshing chamber for the insertion of each rod 7 which has a female screw-thread in one of its ends to accommodate a removable inserting- tool, Fig. 3, (not shown).
