Rust-shaped concave with insertable between the basket bars from the drum side
Insert bars
The invention relates to a rust-shaped
Concave with insert strips that can be inserted between the basket strips from the drum side.
It is already known to improve
Rub-out effect of the concave or to reduce the effective concave screen area, individual sections of the grate area for special work, e.g. B. clover shower, to be covered by attached or placed sheets. It is also known to arrange insert strips from the drum side between the individual basket strips and to secure them with screws that have to be tightened from the underside of the concave.
A disadvantage of the cover plates attached on the drum side is that, due to their smooth and even surface, they do not improve the rubbing effect, and the concave has to be removed in order to attach cover plates arranged under the concave or the aforementioned, known insert strips in order to reach the fastening screws . In addition, trays placed underneath lead to clogging of the basket, which is difficult to rectify afterwards.
According to the invention, these disadvantages are avoided in that holders that can be plugged through slots in the grate are arranged on the support side of the insert strips and holes are made in the holders just below the crossbars of the concave, a safety bar that can be inserted into these holes locking the insert strip on the concave.
Since, as is well known, insert strips are only required when a threshing effect that is not yet sufficiently strong is achieved due to a very close adjustment of the concave relative to the drum, input and

Box holes are attached so that only in the position in which the concave has the greatest set distance from the drum, the holes in the side wall with the holes in the holders and only in this position the safety bar can be inserted or pulled out.
The drawing shows an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention, for example. It shows: FIG. 1 a plan view of a concave, FIG. 2 a section in the plane II-II of FIG. 3 and FIG. 3 a section in the plane III-III of FIG. 1.
The concave is shown in simplified form. He

The grate surface 4 is covered by the insert strip 5. On the support side of the insert strips which lie against the cross bars 2, holders 6 are arranged which penetrate the grate and in which holes for receiving a securing rod 7 are made just below the cross bars. This safety bar locks the insert bar on the concave.
To insert the securing rod 7, 8 holes 9 are arranged in the threshing box wall, through which the locking rod 7 can be inserted in the lowermost position of the concave shown in FIG. 3. In this position, when the concave is folded down (see FIG. 2), the holes 9 ′ of the concave lie in the same line with the holes 9 in the threshing box.
The securing rod 7 has a conical tip 10 or a corresponding rounding for easy introduction and at the other end a thread 11 for attaching an assembly tool 12. FIG. 3 shows the securing rod 7 during installation, u. inserted to about 3/4 of its length. The tool 12 is removed after the rod has been pushed in completely and the concave is adjusted against the drum.
PATENT CLAIMS:
