Class 52(4) A seat spring construction comprising sinuous springs 12 having a resting portion 22 and end attachment portions 17 bent under the resting portion and secured to frame members 4 and 5, has certain adjacent springs supported by members 21 of the shape shown in Fig. 3 secured to the underside of the resting portion of the sinuous springs and to one of the rails 4 or 5 of the frame. The arms of the support member 21 may be attached to a rail by inserting the bent ends into holes or through clips, and are slightly concave to prevent contact under pressure with the underside of the sinuous springs.
