805,811. Thermal switches. GENERAL MOTORS CORPORATION. May 15, 1957 [Jan. 4, 1956], No. 15403/57. Addition to 760,784. Class 38 (5). The toggle spring of the parent Specification is modified by providing it with diverging ends 123, 125 which react with the ends 82, 84 of spring blades 70, 72 so a to urge the toggle spring 121 upwards. Such movement is prevented by lugs 133 on the spring 121 which engage below lugs 127, 129 on the ends of blades 70, 72. A cam 151 on the biasing-spring housing 44 engages a cam surface 149 on an insulating member 141 resiliently carried by the spring 72.
