Abstract

805,642. Mounting spindles. SKF KUGELLAGER FABRIKEN G.m.b.H. March 22, 1956 [March 23, 1955], No. 9008/56. Class 120(2) [Also in Group XXXII] A spindle base 3 is mounted in a spindle rail by means of a flange 4 and resilient washer 5, which may be of plastic, and a resilient sleeve 6, one end 8 of which engages a groove 9 in the rail 1 while the other end 7 embraces the spindle base 3, a nut 10 on the base 3 serving to compress the sleeve 6 and secure it on the base 3. In a second embodiment, resilient sleeves similar to 6 are placed around the spindle base 3 on both sides of the spindle rail 1. In two further embodiments, the resilient sleeve 6 is replaced by a cylindrical sleeve with an end-piece or a double-walled sleeve. Specification 586,608 [Group XXXII] is referred to.
