[Also in Group VI] A slicing or grating disc 45 is interchangeable when the front 35 of the casing is pivoted up about a pin 33, and when the front 35 is lowered again a clutch 22 is automatically coupled to drive the disc 45 from a drive unit or from the drive of a mixer 13. The front 35 includes an opening with grooved sides into which can be slid the edges of a hopper 41, or other shaped hoppers, Fig. 5 or 6 (not shown) when the front 35 is lowered in position and clipped to 10. The drive coupling is automatically made by a block 43 of the hopper sliding rod 31 which eventually pushes the toothed clutch part into engagement with the other clutch part 22 which is rotated by the mixer drive shaft 17. The hopper 41 contains a pivoted presser plate 52 operated by a handle 55. The grating disc has radial slots to one side of each is fixed a cutting blade but a grating disc may be used instead.
