Abstract
804,760. Self-loading vehicles. CAZENAVE, C. Feb. 28, 1956 [Feb. 28, 1955], No. 6201/56. Classes 78 (3) and 78 (4). A hand pallet truck 1 has apertured lugs 3, 5 at the four corners of its frame so that it may be lifted, through a spreader 15 which permits it to hang level whether loaded or unloaded, by a crane 10 carried by a vehicle 8 on to which pallets carried by the pallet truck are to be loaded. In the form illustrated the chains 18, 19 are carried by saddles 17 from notches 16 in the spreader 15. The crane 10 is operated from a hand or power winch 13. A telescoping leg 21 is extended while the crane is in use. The steering wheels 7 and the handle of the pallet truck may be locked while it is on the vehicle.
