803,383. Cosmetic holders. CROWN CORK & SEAL CO. Inc. May 15, 1956 [May 18, 1955], No. 15164/56. Class 18. A holder for cosmetic in stick form of the kind having an axial screwed stem carrying a cup to which the stick is attached, has an external gasket 50 surrounding the stem 34 to exclude air. The cup 56, which may be of rubber, is advanced by rotating a knob 48 attached to the stem. The stem is located by spring fingers 27 integral with the bottom of the body 2, the fingers allowing the stem to be fitted into the body during manufacture. A screw cap 12 is provided. The internal diameter of the body may increase towards the upper end. Reference had been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 736,554.
