Abstract

803,331. Drawers &c. AUTOSET (PRODUCTION), Ltd., and TOWNSEND, C. M. April 17, 1957 [Jan. 17, 1956], No. 1509/56. Class 52(1) A telescopic drawer or shelf sliding support with a strip 1 secured to the housing and having upper and lower parallel rails 7, 8, a main slide 2 having upper and lower rollers 12...16 to engage the rails and a drawer supporting slide 3 with a flange 11 running between and supported by the rollers has spring-biased pivoted catches 20, 21 for limiting the extension of the slides. Strip 1 has slots 30, 31 and slide 2 has slots 32, 33 which are engaged by latching arms 24, 25 of the catches when the supports are extended and slots 34, 35 are engaged selectively by hook 29 of catch 21. When the drawer is closed cam-shaped tips on the catches are engaged by slide 3 to rotate and release the catches. Specification 801,255 is referred to.
