591,288. Storing typewriters &c. DOWTY, G. H. Feb. 21, 1945, No. 4399. [Class 52 (i)] A pedestal desk has one or more wings provided with a cupboard for the storage of a typewriter, dictating machine or other office apparatus wherein the machine is mounted on the rear of a door 7 which opens towards the user of the desk on vertical hinges 8. A platform 9 is preferably provided to support the machine. Recesses 5 at each side of the leg well can be used to house desk telephones.
