Abstract

903,221. Drawers. AUTOSET (PRODUCTION) Ltd. March 9, 1960 [Dec. 9, 1958], No. 39591/58. Class 52 (1). In a drawer slide arrangement a carcase strip 6 is secured to the interior side wall of a cabinet, a drawer slide 7 slides thereon by means of rollers 8, 12 fixed to the slide 7 and rollers 10 carried on strip 6 and the drawer is held open in a predetermined position by means of a gravity latch 15 consisting of a lever pivoted at 16 to an extension 11 of slide 7 and having latching tongues 17, 18 which engage a slot 19 and lie beyond the outer end 20 of strip 6 respectively when the slide is fully extended, thus preventing further extension or retraction until the latch is manually released. An impact stop 23 prevents rattle of the slide. Specifications 341,745 and 803,331 are referred to.
