Abstract

A fixed ceramic composition consists of, in per cent., magnesia 5 to 13; alumina 37 to 57; silica 38 to 50; and contains at least 50 of cordierite crystal. Preferred firing temperature is 2300 DEG to 2700 DEG F. Specifications 791,613, 791,614 and 797,412 (all in Group XXXVII] are referred to.
