800,965. Castors. FLEXELLO CASTORS & WHEELS, Ltd., and WAPSHOTT, S. E. Nov. 16, 1956 [May 14, 1956], No. 14973/56. Class 52(1) A locking device for a castor comprises a plunger 6 slidable in a tubular housing 2 carried by a castor yoke 4 and depressable by a cam 5 against a spring 8. The nose of the plunger engages the tread of the bowl 7, directly or through an interposed leaf spring, and a nib 9 on the plunger engages a toothed ring 11 fixed on the castor mounting. The cam is preferably pedaloperated.
