Abstract

856,860. Bearings. PARECHOC S.A. July 3, 1959 [Oct. 10, 1958], No. 22945/59. Class 12 (1). A shock-absorbing bearing comprises a pivot bearing 4 having a bezel 5 which is maintained against a frusto-conical seat 6 by means of a frusto-conical coil spring 7, the smallest convolution of which bears against the bezel 5 and the largest convolution of which bears against a flange 1a of a housing 1. Grooves 8a, 8b, 8c and 8d facilitate the removal of the spring 7 by means of tweezers. In a modification, a single large groove is provided in the flange 1a.
