800,741. Door holders. SHOWELL & SONS, Ltd., E. Sept. 17, 1956 [June 18, 1955], No. 17652/55. Class 65(1) A door holder comprises a fixing plate 7 secured to the door and a keeper 5 of channel section coupled to lugs 7a, 7b on the plate by links 6 which are freely pivoted on pins 8, 11 on the keeper and pins 10, 12 in the lugs. A tension spring 13 interconnecting the pins 8, 12 urges the keeper downwards to bring lug 5d into frictional contact with the floor, and serves to retain the keeper in the raised, inoperative position.
