Abstract

Class 20(1) A collapsible trolley for conveying articles to storage cubicles consists of several superposed platforms f hinged to, and contained within a framework of corner posts g which can pivot down so that all the platforms f lie in a horizontal plane as in Fig. 2 for loading e.g. with trays P Fig. 4 carrying the articles. The framework has top and bottom wheels k, m, and running on top and bottom rails c and b for transporting but the rails converge to a common horizontal plane as in Fig. 2 at the loading position. After loading, pushing of the trolley to the spaced vertical rails automatically raises the trolley to position where the platforms f become superposed. The trolley is then pushd further to stationary cubicles into which the trays P can be pushed. The trays also have wheels Q to facilitate this pushing.
