Abstract

796,208. Tool-holders. O.K. TOOL CO., Inc. May 7, 1956 [June 10, 1955], No. 14049/56. Class 83 (3). A tool-holder 1, Fig. 1, carries a tool 11 in a blind cylindrical-recess 3. A split adaptor 6, Fig. 3, is adjustable in the recess by a grubscrew 17 which fits into a part-cylindrical opening 4, and is prevented from axial movement by a transverse pin 18. The grub-screw engages part-threads on the adaptor to move the latter into and out of the recess. The adaptor has a tapered-recess 7 into which the tool 11 fits. Screws 13 pass through the tool and wedge the tool into the adaptor and recess.
