The portion of a glove which covers the front of the hand is made un from two blanks comprising the palm, thumb 4<SP>1</SP>, first finger 14<SP>1</SP> and fourth finger 15<SP>1</SP>, Fig. 3, and the second and third fingers, Fig. 4. The outside edges 1<SP>1</SP>, 2<SP>1</SP> of the main blank diverge towards the wrist and slots 16<SP>1</SP>, 17<SP>1</SP>, 22, 24, 26 and 27 are provided to give freedom of movement.
