Abstract
699,824. Gloves. DONMALL & CO., Ltd., C., and DONMALL, C. F. Jan. 30, 1952 [Jan. 9, 1951], No. 662/51. Class 141. [Also in Group XV] A glove comprises padding which covers the back of each hand and part of the back of each finger, the ends of the fingers being left exposed. As shown, the glove comprises two leather sheets 12, 13, leather gussets 14 between the fingers, and leather pieces 21, 22 to form the thumb. Further sheets 23, 24 are stitched to the back of the hand and thumb and then, as shown, are filled with padding 25. Sheet 13 extends over the front of the wrist and, with a piece of elastic fabric 43, forms a wrist band. The finger openings may be provided with a band of soft leather having an elastic insert. The padding may be horse hair or sponge rubber or sponge rubber containing horse hair.
