Abstract

793,080. Cam-operated switches. BUSCHJAEGER DURENER METALLWERKE AKT.-GES. March 20, 1956 [March 30, 1956], No. 8724/56. Class 38 (5). A switch has radiallycontrolled contact levers in rows parallel to the camshaft, the levers being arranged with their contacts and bearings in recesses formed in two flat insulating base members extending opposite to one another parallel with the shaft. The base members 1 are held spaced from each other by bearing- plates 8 which support the cam-shaft 11a. The contact levers 4 are integral with terminals 6 and cooperate with fixed contacts 6c. The terminals 6 have bent-over ends which are sprung into parts 3c of apertures 3b which open out of recesses 3 in the opposed faces of members 1, the terminals being held in position by clamping springs 6a. The recesses 3 of each row may be opposite one another, Fig. 2, or staggered (Fig. 3, not shown). The switch is made dust-proof by insulating-plates 5 sprung into grooves 1d in the base members. An indexing mechanism extends into recesses 1e in the base members.
