Abstract

792,504. Measuring nuclear radiation. UNITED KINGDOM ATOMIC ENERGY AUTHORITY. Feb. 1, 1956 [Feb. 14, 1955], No. 4297/55. Class 40 (3). [Also in Group XL (c)] The pulse output from a Geiger counter or a scintillation counter is applied to a pulse ratemeter C1, C2, D3, D4, A, through a single stable state junction transistor circuit t which supplies an input pulse at a to the rate-meter for each pulse received from the counter. When the circuit is used with a scintillation counter a thermistor TH may be provided to maintain the sensitivity constant with changes of temperature.
