790,553. Gear - cutting. FUJI JIDOSHA KABUSHIKI KAISHA. Feb. 10, 1955, No. 4049/55. Class 83 (3). A gear-cutting machine comprises a face-mill type annular cutter 6 having inside and outside straight cutting-edges mounted for angular adjustment on a continuouslyrotated cradle 4, a work-spindle adjustable on a column 20 fitted to a table 21 which is adjustable angularly on a sliding base 22, and one group of compound change-gears 8 through which the rotor and spindle are rotated at a desired rolling- ratio. The cutter-spindle 55 is mounted in the cradle by a series of eccentric members 43-41 so that the cutter may represent an internal or external gear.
