Class 34(1) A fabric drying machine comprises an enclosed middle section 1 mounted on a fixed frame 4 comprising superimposed tenter frames 5 containing conveying means for the fabric web and end sections 2, 3 supported on movable frames 6 and each comprising regulable blowers 7 and tubular heaters 8 having inlet and outlet pipes 14, 15, respectively enclosed by a housing 9 having one open side fitted against an open end of the housing 10 enclosing the middle section. Frames 16 ensure a fluid-tight joint between the sections. The end sections may be hinged to the middle section.
