Abstract

789,400. Bottle crates. BACK, K. J. Sept. 5, 1955, No. 25433/55. Class 18. Bottle crates are formed so that when stacked, bottle necks of a lower crate enter between the bottles of the upper crate and also support it. In one embodiment an upper plate 1 having apertures 6 is secured above a plate 2 having apertures 7, the bottle necks of the crate beneath entering the apertures 7 to support the crate above. In another embodiment the individual apertures 6, 7 are replaced by slots for rows of bottle bodies or necks.
