Class 132(3) A constructional toy comprises generally rectangular panels with interlock projections on their vertical edges, which engage in longitudinal grooves in vertically extending connecting elements so that pairs of panels may be secured together at right angles, and a coupling member with two interlocking projections, which can engage one groove of each of two connecting members to secure them together so that panels engaged in the other two grooves of the coupling members will both lie in the same plane. As shown panels 1, 2. 3, 4, moulded from synthetic resin material, have projections 6 which engage in longitudinal grooves in a metal connecting. element 5. The upper edge of each panel has an inwardly projecting flange 7 with tongues 8 to engage the inner surface of the panel above it and tongues 9 to engage in recesses 10 formed in the front face of that panel. Triangular metal corner plates 12 are slotted to fit over two tongues 8 and have an aperture 13 to receive a peg 14 on the corner of a roof 15. The coupling member is a panel 16 forming a partition wall and having, at each vertical edge two propections 17 which engage in the grooves of two connecting elements 5 so that two panel members 18 may be assembled in line with one another. Alternatively the partition wall may have a broad flange on its upper edge provided with locking tongues. The panels may be provided with openings for windows and doors, e.g. a window 25 of synthetic resin, as shown in Fig. 5, having lugs 26, 27 which fit in positions 26<SP>1</SP>, 27<SP>1</SP>. A garage door assembly, Fig. 6, includes a door 32 movable between a closed and an open position by being pushed upwards the edges of the door frame being adapted to iriterfit with adjacent panels and connecting members. Further elements may be provided for joining two or more panels together e.g. as shown in Fig. 9 without using the connecting members.
