Abstract

787,565. Ventilating. ROBERTSON THAIN, Ltd. (Robertson Co., H. H.):. March 16, 1955, No. 7713/55. Class 137 Hot and cold ventilating air is supplied from risers 20, 22 to header ducts 81, 80 communicating with selected longitudinal cellular members 85, 86 forming part of the floor structure. Pressure-equalizing ducts 92, 93 extend between the cellular members of which selected ones communicate with mixing and dispersing units 50, 60 adjacent the windows. Alternatively mixing of the hot and cold air may take place as in mixers 54 remote from the outlets. The mixers include thermostatically controlled dampers. Some air may be discharged through ceiling outlets 165. Details of the apparatus form the subjects of Specifications 787,566, 787,567, 787,568, 787,569 and 787,570, and Specification 420,062 also is referred to.
