787,567. Floors; air-conditioning. ROBERTSON THAIN, Ltd. (Robertson Co.. H. H.). March 16, 1955, No. 30472/56. Divided out of 787,565. Classes 20(4) and 137 A component part of an air-conditioning system for a building comprises a floor which includes load-supporting adjacent cellular units 100, 102. All these units run in the same direction, being carried by girders 12; the units 100 are used for carrying the electric wiring of the building whilst the units 102 form part of the hot or cold conditioned air system. Cross bearers 80, 81 supply respectively the hot and cold air, and cross ducts 100a lead off some of the electric wires as required. To preserve the electric insulation of the wiring, heat-insulating material 103 is provided between the hot-air cells or heaters and the wiring cells or ducts wherever these cross one another.
