787,566. Floors. ROBERTSON THAIN, Ltd. (Robertson Co., H. H.). March 16, 1955, No. 30471/56. Divided out of 787,565. Class 20(4) A metal floor comprises cellular units 102 in longitudinal aligned relation with the joint sealed as at 116 and with the ends sealed as by plates 120 welded to the upper faces of both the upper and lower members forming the units, the upper members being somewhat shorter than the lower members. Two slightly different forms are shown in the two Figures; in one the upper member fits within and is welded to the lower member which carries the lip and channel 103, 104 for engaging adjacent units; in the other these engaging members are carried by the upper member. These units may alternate with the cellular units described in Specification 420,062 and they may form part of the air distributing means of the complete air conditioning system of Specification 787,565.
