Class 97(1) The surface of a reflecting screen has parallel corrugations each of which has one face 42 which is either plane or corrugated perpendicularly to the main corrugations and a second face, approximately perpendicular to the first, formed with facets 43, at a small angle to each other, and meeting in lines parallel to the main corrugations. Such a screen may be built up from separately formed members 41. The corrugations on the faces 42 may be formed on separately secured strips. In their absence the necessary vertical diffusion may be produced by a separate transparent sheet covered with horizontal wavy lines. The screen is intended for stereoscopic projection and the main corrugations will normally be vertical. Specification 787,237 is referred to.
