787,087. Seats. TAMPLIN & CO., Ltd., N. May 15, 1956 [May 16, 1955; Aug. 8, 1955], Nos. 14076/55 and 22783/55. Class 52(2) A stool for use with a dental chair or like and mounted on a support swingable around the chair has a pillar 12 on a bar 10 slidable on rollers 11 within a housing 5 having side brackets 6 pivotally mounted on pins 7 on a cylindrical boss 4 rotatable about an upright pin 3 on a base 1. The inclination of housing 5 can be varied by means of a screw 9 in a bracket 8 and a platform 16 for a dental engine and other appliances is secured to the housing. A foot-rest 21 is supported on columns 22 fixed on lugs on base 1 on which base the chair is arranged. The seat 13 of the stool is rotatable on a ball bearing on a rod 14 clamped in column 12 by a screw clamp 15 to allow height adjustment. A buffer 29 arrests the movement of bar 10 inwards.
