787,015. Jet propelled aircraft. POWER JETS (RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT), Ltd. March 19, 1954, Nos. 13333/57 and 13334/57. Divided out of 787,012. Drawings to Specification. Class 4. An aircraft wing has a trailing edge wing flap, and jet propulsion means arranged to discharge a propulsive jet rearwardly over the flap so as to leave the rear of the wing as a long thin jet sheet extending along the span of the flap, which is disposed to guide the sheet along a path following its upper surface and is movable to cause the jet sheet to leave the wing in an upwardly inclined, rearward, or downwardly inclined direction at will. The description is the same as that of Specification 787,012, but the claims differ. Specifications 787,013 and 787,014 also are referred to.
