Class 86 In a concrete, &c., mixing-machine comprising a stationary mixing pan B having a door-controlled discharge shoot 21 and scraper blades 5, 6 and mixing blades 7 depending from a member 14 which is adapted to be rotated by a driving worm 18 through a worm wheel 17 and central hollow shaft 16 mounted within a fixed bearing 9, the unmixed materials are fed to the centre of the pan from a hopper 24 projecting into said shaft 16. Stirring vanes 25 are preferably mounted within the shaft 16 to prevent clogging of the hopper outlet 23. The blades 5, 6 are secured to the vertical flange 15 of the member 14, and the blades 7, for example three, radiate from a shaft 12 to extend over the radius of the pan, said shaft 12 being caused to rotate by the engagement of an end pinion 11 with a spur wheel 10 rigidly mounted on the bearing 9.
