Abstract
783,797. Moulds. GERMEK, J. Feb. 25, 1955 [Feb. 25, 1954], No. 5750/55. Class 83 (1). A metal pattern for use in casting a chillmould for non-ferrous castings, is built up on a vertical base-plate 1 which is pointed at the top by bevelled surfaces 2. An incision 10 bounds the half-sections of the pattern mounted on the base-plate in order to obtain sharp edges on the cast chill-mould halves. The pattern is mounted in a frame 11 on an iron base plate 12, and eyebolts 14 serve as cores to leave internallythreaded holes in the cast mould, into which handles may be screwed.
