Abstract

781,967. Bath &c. stoppers. WALLACH, B. Jan. 13, 1955 [Jan. 13, 1954], No. 1035/54. Class 26. [Also in Group XXV] A stopper for a bath or the like comprises, as shown in Fig. 1, a sealing portion 11 for the outlet, a portion 13 having means for attachment of a chain, and a cup-shapec rubber sucker portion 12 for attaching the plug to the bath wall &c. wher not in use. The sucker portion is adapted to enter the outlet in use, so as to centre the stopper. In an alternative form shown in Fig. 2, the sucker 12 is mounted on the top of a deep conical plug and a ring 21 beneath the sucker carries a chain 22. Specifications 25442/08 [Class 26], 626,030 and U.S.A. Specification 2,000,206 are referred to.
